Louise Redknapp & Emma Thatcher: Partnership, Confidence and Collaboration.
Louise Redknapp and Emma Thatcher started their website A Style Album three years ago, their idea was to talk about and share fashion with women who, like them, wanted easy-to -follow, practical and helpful advice and inspiration. Born out of this, and their friendship, the site has grown and is now one of the most influential online fashion destinations around.
In this chat, around Emma's kitchen table, we talk about how the idea became a reality, how their natural friendship has helped them create a safe space for women seeking fashion and beauty advice and how their confidence has grown since those early blog posts. We discuss working with brands, making good business decisions, finding your identity again after having children and, what is, quite frankly a mystery to me, the fate of bootcut jeans.
Their instagram feed a must-follow - @astylealbum - and their recent post on piercings and earrings is a must-read if you're in the market for some new, but chic hardware. Their musings on Organised Beauty have made my own makeup stores a much better and more efficient space and their Shop is a page I check in with regularly...
I've just subscribed to their new YouTube Channel A Style Album, which is a great resource to the advice, tips, tricks and insight you can get from Lou and Emma.
